1 T R A F F I C R E G U L A T I O N S No. : TP/33, Dated : Whereas it is necessary for preventing danger, obstruction or inconvenience to the public to regulate traffic of all kinds during the Chaturthi on (Saturday), Panchami on (Sunday), the Sasthi on (Monday), the Saptami on (Tuesday), the Astami on (Wednesday) , the Navami on (Thursday) and during Durga Puja Immersion Days falling on (Friday) (Dashami & 1st Day of Immersion), on (Saturday) (Ekadashi -2nd Day of Immersion), on (Sunday) (Dwadashi-3rd Day of Immersion), on (Monday) (Trayodashi-4th Day of Immersion) and on (Tuesday) (Chaturdashi-5th and final Day of Immersion & Immersion Carnival on Red Road) and again during the Lakshmi Puja Immersion falling on (Thursday) and (Friday)

2 , I, Rajeev Kumar, Commissioner of Police, Kolkata, in exercise of the powers vested in me under Section 115, 117, 122 & 126 1988 and Section 62, 62(1b) of Calcutta Police Act / 39, 39(1b) of Calcutta Suburban Police Act read with Rule No. 85, 86, 87, 88 & 93 of Rules for the Regulations of Traffic in Kolkata and Suburbs and under sub-section (1) of Section 4 of West Bengal Traffic Regulation Act, 1965 ( Act XV of 1965) read with Govt. of West Bengal Home (Transport) Department Order , dt. the 20th July, 1965 and Govt. of West Bengal Transport Department Notification No. 3363-WT/3M-34/99, dt the 29th April, 1999, do hereby order that all classes of vehicles and all kind of traffic including pedestrian traffic for the city of Kolkata shall be regulated in the following manner.

3 (These additional regulations shall remain in force during the days and hours specified in this order. All previous orders issued in respect of the areas and the roads, streets and thoroughfares or portions thereof, which are repugnant to that mentioned below, shall remain suspended during the period) During the Chaturthi on , the Panchami on , the Sasthi on , the Saptami on , the Astami on and the Navami on the following regulations shall be enforced: (I) In the interest of public safety and convenience the movement of all types of Goods Vehicles shall be prohibited to ply within the city of Kolkata as follows :- Chaturthi - From 15:00 hrs. on to 02:00 hrs. on Panchami - From 15:00 hrs. on to 02:00 hrs. on Sasthi - From 15:00 hrs. on to 03:00 hrs. on Saptami - From 15:00 hrs. on to 04:00 hrs.

4 On Astami - From 07:00 hrs. to 12:00 hrs. on (for Kumari Puja only) * From 15:00 hrs. on to 04:00 hrs. on Navami - From 15:00 hrs. on to 04:00 hrs. on * (Vehicles coming along Cossipore Road will not be allowed to move further north along Cossipore Road. They will be diverted towards east along Khagen Chatterjee Road to avail B T Road for northward journey from hrs to hrs on for Kumari Puja) * However Goods Vehicle along Vidyasagar Setu and its ramps, Khidderpore Road, Taratala Road, Circular Garden Reach Road, Garden Reach Road, Hide Road, Coal Berth Road, Remount Road, all other feeder roads connecting these major roads and Western part of Kolkata including Kolkata Dock and Port System shall be allowed to ply from the time of withdrawal of Goods Vehicle restriction till subsequent implementation on , , , and Note : However the roads will remain open for all types of Light Commercial / Goods Vehicles from hrs to hrs on the days.
