MSUB is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. All degree programs at MSU Billings are designed to provide students with the appropriate academic preparation to enter their chosen career fully prepared to meet the demands of a changing job market and a global economy, and to pursue a path of lifelong learning. MSUB has developed several new initiatives to benefit students. These include transitioning the City College to a comprehensive community college in order to better serve the needs of the community and students and opening a downtown Billings location including classrooms and computer labs providing greater access to academic offerings and services.
