2 A) For Disciplines other than Engineering subject Doctoral degree in Agriculture subject including relevant basic science with 8 years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist / Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the Pay band-3 of with Grade Pay of equivalent or more remuneration whichever is applicable having made contribution to research/ teaching / extension education as evidenced by published work / innovations and impact.

3 OR Doctoral degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with minimum 8 years experience of high quality postdoctoral research in an institution / organization as evidenced by at least 6 publications in journals with NAAS rating of or above. b) For Engineering Disciplines: Doctoral degree in relevant Agricultural Engineering subject with 6 years experience as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the Pay band-3 of with 2 Sl. Desirable: 1. Three (3) years working experience in KVK or Extension Education projects 2. Specialization in implementing extension education programme.
