5 A customised grain trading computer and software system is installed to track loads, commodities and storages and provide timely and informative reports to growers and management. TAP continues to invest signifi cant resources into acquiring and updating world-class analysing equipment. This ensures TAP is at world s best practice in regards to analysing, storing and segregating grain . Our number one priority is safety. We ask that all visitors to our Powranna site wear closed-in footwear and a high visibility vest or shirt; obey the site traffi c fl ow and speed limit; and always watch for employees signals on when it is safe to stop and go.

10 Improve existing and establish new grain markets Provide a link between buyers and sellers of 2006 a group of 10 Tasmanian grain growers established Tasmanian Agricultural Producers Pty Ltd (TAP) to export Agricultural produce directly from Tasmania. Agriculture in Tasmania accounts for 16% of the State s gross domestic product (GDP), the highest proportion of any Australian State. The current expansion of irrigation throughout the State is expected to double Agricultural production every 10 years. With this increase in Agricultural output in mind, TAP was formed to allow Tasmanian grain growers to collectively market their Agricultural produce into international fi rst international exports of non-genetically modifi ed canola to Japan started during early 2007, with volumes increasing each year.
