1 COUNTY OF LOS Angeles DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH TRANSITION AGE YOUTH (TAY) DIVISION MENTAL HEALTH services ACT (MHSA) TAY DROP-IN CENTERS DROP-IN CENTERS provide temporary safety and basic supports for Seriously Emotionally Disturbed (SED) and Severe and Persistently Mentally Ill (SPMI) TAY who are living on the streets or in unstable living situations. DROP-IN CENTERS provide environments in which TAY can make new friends and participate in social activities.
