2 Thank you for deciding to use Teachers Training 101 provided bySunday School Center . My prayer is that God will bless you as you study Kay Chatwell, MDFounder, Sunday School CenterTo Use These You don t have to read the whole thing! (Whew!) Just pick and choose theparts that seem to relevant to you in your you are planning a Teachers Training program, then pick the different parts (orlessons) that seem to apply best to your group, and work through them you have a large group, you may want to offer Break-Out Sessions wheresome of the participants choose to study one topic of interest or another. Askleaders, in advance, to prepare the lessons for the various sessions, so that theycan teach them on that day. When it is time for the Break-Out Sessions, dividethe larger group of students into smaller groups, depending on their you go through the materials, you will find some Exercises that go along withvarious lessons.
3 They are there to help students think through what they havelearned and decide how it all applies to Exercises can provide some nice breaks in the day; allowing you to switchthings up a little. Some suggest discussion of the questions in small contain worksheets. It explains that, just like our ownbodies have eyes, ears, feet and hands to do different jobs to benefit the whole, the body ofbelievers (of which we are all integral parts) is made up of different persons who have beengifted to do different jobs, in order to benefit the whole group (or the body of believers.) everyone is a Corinthians 12:28-29 reemphasizes this point, by saying: God has placed in the churchfirst ofall apostles,second prophets,third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing,of helping, ofguidance,and of different kinds of all apostles?
5 Are all prophets? Are all teachers?Do all work miracles? Ask Are all teachers? No, they are not. 9 Step TWO Become a Student Learn what is in the lessonoIn order to be a good teacher , you must know what is in the lessonoIt must mean something to you, before you can share it with othersoYou can try to skip this step, but then your teaching will not be effective How to get started learning the lessonoRead over the lesson to get the basic idea and to find the scripture versesoLook up the scriptures yourself in a Bible and read them, along with the otherverses around themoAsk yourself what the scripture verses are saying Find the Major Points in the lessonoThere are probably 2 3 major points in each lessonoThese are the important things you want your students to learn in classoMake sure you have a Bible verse that confirms each major point in the lesson(You don t have to share these with the students.)

EXAMPLE: You cannot teach children to add and subtract, if they do notalready know their you can find out what your students know BEFORE you start teachingthe lesson, but this is not always possible.
