1 3 VBB- Parents;First, I would like to congratulate you and your son/daughter for being selected to play in The ThreeVillage Baseball and softball League Travel travel program is designed to provide a positive experience for any player capable and interestedin an advanced level of play. The league is committed to improving the skills of its players tomaximize their sports are a very big commitment, not only for your child, but also for you as parents. TheenclosedTeam Rules Contractis designed to outline expectations from the league, promotesportsmanship and fair play, as well as provide an atmosphere of open communication between parentsand has shown that whenparents have an avenue to express their concerns and/or makesuggestions, there is far less conflict between parents, players and the coaching staff.

Missing practice will impact playing time with few exceptions. Practices are the foundationof everything we do during games. Expect to practice twice a week for approximately two hours each day.
5 Players are expectedto spend additional time practicing on their own. It is the Player/Parents responsibility to inform the Manager if he/she will bemissing a game or is an expensive undertaking. We understand this and have establishedtwopayments at intervals throughout theseason. These fees are necessary to maintain the program and are not to remain current with thepaymentsubjects your child to game suspensions until paid current. Any returned payment is subject to a NSF fee of $ player s primary commitment is to his/her team . It isstronglyrecommended that players do not play on multiple travel teams(school teams not included).
6 Exceptions may be made for players whose ability limits their opportunities within our travelprogram. If we are not your child s primary commitment, playing time may be significantly reduced to accommodate players whoare committed to the baseball attire is required for all practices and games. This includes baseball pants, baseball cleats, cup, hat and duringinclement or colder weather, multiple layers or pullovers. All attire must represent the league must come to each practice and/or game at the time designated by the coaching staff. Players must be ready to play uponarrival, with the proper equipment and is recommended for health reasons, that each child have their own battinghelmet.
7 All personal equipment must be labeled with the players name on it. It is the Player s responsibility to take careof andmaintain the teams, as well as their own, equipment at practices and games. All equipment must be stored in its proper placeduring games and practices in order to ensure a clear and safe dugout area. Bats may be kept in designated bat racks or in thevicinity of the On Deck Attitude no timewill any equipment be thrown in frustration or anger. Use of foul or abusive language, is strictlyprohibited. 8 If aparent/guardian is leaving their child alone with the coaches, they MUST communicate this to the coaching staff. No child will beleft alone by the coaching staff at any time.
