2 This Technical Specification describes the requirements for supply, installation, commissioning and testing of precision CNC Horizontal milling machine at RRCAT, Indore. B. Qualification criteria of the bidder: Only CNC milling machine manufacturers or their authorized representatives/dealers are eligible to bid. The bidder shall meet the following criteria to qualify for the bid. 1 The OEM shall operate under a quality management system (ISO 9001:2000) with CNC milling machine design, manufacturing, and inspection and testing in its scope. 2 The bidder/ OEM shall have 5 years of experience and capacity in the field of CNC milling machine manufacturing, testing, and installation and commissioning. 3 The bidder/ OEM shall have made at least three CNC milling machines of design & capacity as specified in tender which should be satisfactorily working for at least two years.

3 The bidder must submit documents in support of each of the above criterion. Bidders are requested to give a list of their customers in India where their CNC milling machine are installed and used for high precision jobs. At least one such machine should be located in Government / PSU /industrial unit in India working in satisfactory condition with proper service support from OEM (details to be provided along with offer). Bidders shall mention their name of the contact person /complete mailing address/email in the bid. These contact details will be used for mailing official enquiries about bids. Clarification / information asked by the purchaser should be provided by bidder in the set time limit, failing which the bid may be rejected. 4 The bidder shall confirm his capability to support the spares, maintenance, and calibration and after sales service of the complete system after erection & commissioning, during and after the warranty period, either directly or through authorized service representative positioned in India.

4 The service support should be in existence in India for last two years before the bid due date. On-site service support with OEM trained engineers must be available in India. The details of the service support agency including the service personnel details /training and infrastructure details must be provided along with bid. C. Documents to be submitted along with Bid. 1 Point wise confirmation of compliance with tender specifications and section N Compulsory Technical Particulars shall be filled. 2 Sources, standards and make of components and bought out items to be utilized in assembly of CNC milling machine . Technical discussions and presentation of offers: 1 Bidder can seek clarifications/ discuss Technical requirements of CNC milling machine through an enquiry to purchase department (IRPU, DPS, RRCAT, Indore-452013 (India). 2 Pre-bid meeting: A pre-bid meeting will be arranged at RRCAT, all bidders can use this opportunity to obtain clarifications on this Specification . E. Scope of supply: 1 Design, manufacturing, supply, installation, commissioning and testing of CNC Horizontal milling machine with automatic tool changer (20 tools or more) at RRCAT, Indore (India) as per Technical specifications mentioned in section-F. Quantity - 1 No. 2 Accessories/equipments of the set each. 3 Inspection, testing & acceptance of machine at manufacturer s works. 4 Training of purchaser s personnel at manufacturer s works and RRCAT, Indore, India. 5 Three sets of all relevant Technical documentation, drawings, circuit diagrams, maintenance and operation manuals etc.)

(Bidder has to mention type of drive system) 12. 6 The machine shall have precision ball screws for all linear axes or suitable technically justified choice. (Bidder has to mention class, make and type of ball screws ) 12. 7 Spindle should be life time lubricated or oil cooled with oil chillier facility. In case of low lubrication, an alarm message shall be displayed on the controller screen and the machine shall stop automatically after completion of the cycle.
