Test takers listen to ashort story and enter notes about that story into acomputer. They are then asked to summarize the storyby answering multiple-choice questions. Multi-tasking isalso measured using a decision-making SUMMARIZATION 2 (AUDIO)Measures:The ability to hear, comprehend, and utilizeaudible information while accurately entering thatinformation using a keyboard.

5 Test takers listen to asimulated telephone call and enter detailed informationinto the computer. They must then respond to a series ofmultiple-choice questions about the information theyheard by using the information entered into the computerand /or their memory. Multi-tasking is also measuredusing a decision-making SUMMARIZATION 2 MULTI-TASKING (AUDIO)Measures:Similar to the Call Summarization 2 test, itcontains more decision making/multi-tasking items. Itsscore reflects a combination of the accuracy of the dataentered, and the responses to both the multi-tasking andmultiple-choice :The ability to locate information, requested inwriting, on a written list and to correctly and accuratelyrespond using a keyboard.

Test takers receive information audiblyover a headset and are asked to respond verbally by statingthe cross-referenced information into a microphone. Testtakers listen to a series of seven-digit telephone numbersand are then asked to enter the number from memory afew moments :The ability to evaluate and analyze informationin order to prioritize or categorize incidents.
