1 Dr. Ted Traylor | Morning Worship August 19, 2018. The Truth Claims of Jesus John 14:1-6. Following Jesus is the WAY, a belonging Following Jesus is the TRUTH, a believing Following Jesus is the LIFE, a behaving Shadow of the Cross is a big day at Olive. You are needed to help make this outreach event a success. We will meet at 9am this Saturday to get information, packets, instructions and prayer. Then we will be off to knock on doors within a two mile radius of Olive's main and Warrington campuses. This is a great event for families to get involved in together. Kids are a plus when you walk up to a door. We are there to meet people, invite people and pray for them. Get on the team! This will make a difference! Several weeks ago I was burdened to plant a foster care connection within our Olive structure.

2 I have asked my executive assistant Beth Harris to lead in this effort as an extension of our office. In days ahead we will provide education, training opportunities and connections to Olive members who are already involved in the work. Please call Beth and she can give you direction. We are pleased to have Robert Zarahn, director of One More Child (an extension of the Florida Baptist Children's Home) with us today to pray over this new endeavor. Today is Allen Farr's last day on our team. He is moving to Hampton Roads, Virginia to join a church team there. I am grateful for his ministry here for the past eight years. He has brought consistency and confidence to the sound board and media ministry. While he serves us all, Jon Tyner and I are extremely thankful for Allen.
