6 I AM THAT I AMLife after death?Man is a programmable our life on Earth, is all we all have in Jesus made I AM!The Book of do you think Jesus Christ mind - Part 2 ~ Further Insights6My 'Spiritual' background ..At a 'Youth for Christ ' meeting in Vancouver British Co-lumbia, in 1953 I accepted ' Christ ' as my personal savior asper the understanding of the spiritual rebirth as taught by theChurch. I did, with all sincerity, live as the Church expected ofits adherents and members. I was without a doubt 'one of them'.Still .. I felt there must be more to the Christian way oflife, but had no idea if there was for sure. I was not completelysatisfied with the teachings of the Church. I was genuine inmy beliefs but, at testimonial meetings I was unable to de-clare, as others seemingly could, what the Lord meant to me,how He had blessed me, how I loved Him etc.

7 Without feelinglike a hypocrite. I knew many of those who gave such testi-monies and believed that many of them were phony, as overthe years, we have all been witness to the phoniness of manyof the so-called 'pillars of Christianity'. I simply carried on asthe leaders of the faith directed, only to discover that therewas indeed MUCH made the amazing discovery that "I and the 'Father' areOne". To say that I was astounded is a mild description of howexcited I was. I knew that this was indeed a Truth that theChurch had missed. I felt that I had made the discovery of alldiscoveries and hoped to share it with my fellow believers,only to find that instead of rejoicing with me they consideredme a heretic and a blasphemer, and wanted nothing to dowith what I had to say.

8 So I quit the Church. Everything I saidthen and everything I say now can only make you a better'Christian', can only draw you into a closer walk with God. Itwas obvious that the Spiritual rebirth as taught by the Churchcould not create in anyone a 'Consciousness of Oneness'.Only as I discovered that man and God were One, One andthe same, did I realize that we could walk As God! Not justwalk 'with' God .. but As God .. as the Church said we the disciples, who walked with Jesus, ate with him,etc., could not understand him as he spoke of his relationshipto God, (of man's relationship to God,) how can we expectHumanity in general to comprehend it. Seeds do not germinateimmediately, it takes some time. In like manner it takes timefor the significance of the truth, that man and God are one, to'sink in'.

9 Only as we realize that man and God are one, canwe 'walk' as that One (as God), made possible through the'Spiritual Rebirth'.. the Real Spiritual Rebirth!It is written, 'let this mind be in you which was also inChrist Jesus'. You cannot attain ' Christ consciousness' withoutfirst realizing that 'you and the Father (God) are One', for theChrist mind is simply the Divine mind , the Universal Mindpersonified. The ' Christ mind ', is the 'fruit' of that awareness,the fruit of the Spiritual no one would listen to what I had to say I decided to'put it on paper'. It was not an easy subject to explain, especiallywith little help from anyone I knew. The only place I could turnfor understanding was 'within'. I laid claim to a particularlymeaningful scripture, James 1:5.

10 'If any of you lack wisdom,let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally and up- braidethnot, and it shall be given to him. But, let him ask in faith, nothingwavering'. I never ever asked for any 'thing', only for enlighten-ment and understanding. I can say without equivocation thattime after time after time I received the answers to my came intuitively and without fail, and formed the 'substance'of this book. Nothing I have written will separate you from I have written can only draw you closer to 'Him'. AsI said at the beginning of this chapter pertaining to 'born again'Christians, that I was 'one of them', only now, I can proclaim itwith conviction and authority!8To live in The Christ mind , IS TO LIVE AS GOD(The ' Christ mind ' is the Divine mind personified.)What is the ' Christ mind '.
