2 Rumor has it, this will be a busy, jammed-packed morning and does not disappoint. President Sherry, standing upon her Step, rang the bell and everyone recited the invocation, pledge and patriotic song. Then off to break-fast, "Great Job Chef Chris." As Members ate, your Guest Editor passed through the crowd collecting Pocket Change for Polio. Next, announcements, presentations, on and on and You get the gist. Bob McDuffie presented a check for the work done for Carol Garner; thank you Modern Woodsmen for your generosity. Next an update on the Visani fund raiser for the Drew Lisby Foundation and Quiz Night at Laishley Crab House.

3 Great Job Stephen and Darryl. Remember Bingo on the 14th, Mike Colgan and Cheffy. We greeted and sang to Mike Ackerman, Debra Henry and Hubby, found by Mike Colgan, trolling for Rotarians at the Farmers Market. Hope they come again. Birthdays and anniversaries for Jos include uncles Herman and Ramon, nephew Mario Jos , in-laws Mario and Lourdes, and last but not least, leaving Spain 45 years ago. Then the death of Wild Bill Hickok in 1876, Wayne s daughter-in-law Oksana is 21, Mike Moody s birthday, Sherry s friend Pat s birthday, great grandson Austin s 4th birthday, Don and Sandy's anniversary.

4 Happy Indians beat the Red Sox, Steve's daughter is underway and his son is hot? Sad dollar from Jos : Barcelona lost, but happy he was recognized for 25 years by the Knights of Columbus. Todd is happy he moved into Sun Loft. Darryl is happy the Facebook page is up. Over 4,000 pairs of shoes for the kids, or-ganized by guest Kristy Smith. Great Job There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else. Sam Walton Charlotte County! 50/50 drawing congratulations to Austin, and a big thank you for the generous donation of $27 to Pocket Change for Polio.

5 Watch for the Tropical Storm moving towards the Florida Peninsula. Wayne will update as it gets closer. Guest Speaker this week was our own Carol Stevens with a very informative presen-tation about the use of lasers in the periodontal field. She showed video clips, examples of radiograms and photos of miraculous results with lasers in her dental practice. I will attest to the fact she used her laser on me, and am extremely happy with the results. Stephen led the Four-Way Test. Pocket Change and Lasers By Guest Editor Cheffy Bowman The things that are worthwhile take time, and it is not the I s of the world but the We s who will achieve them H.
