Hello T-birders, wow it's November and Thanksgiving is just around the corner. The first thing that I want to bring up is that the November meeting at West Valley College has been changed to the 3rd Friday of the month, November 18th. WVC is closed for Veterans Day and that's why we had to make the change. Please mark your calendars. If anyone has any suggestions for possible Blunderbird candidates please let me know. We still have 2 more months for possibilities for this infamous award so if anyone knows about any humorous happenings that occurred in 2016 please give me a call or email me.

2 I would love to hear what happened and I can probably use some reminders of all that you remember. This is not squealing on someone it's helping me out. The Awards Dinner will be on Saturday, February 4, 2017 and we will be going over all the fun things we did in 2016. I am looking forward to seeing all of you so please look in this month s Fan for further details on the Awards Dinner. November is also the month when we vote on our 2017 Board since we don't have a December meeting, and this year I am happy to again announce that we did not need a nominating committee because the entire 2016 Board will be your 2017 Board. Thank you again to the entire Board. We will still have an election at the November meeting to make it all official.

3 I would also like to thank two special people who lead us every year in two very special events. Jill Schwab is again leading the "Senior Bag Stuffing Event" on Thursday, December 8 and Don Reisinger is again leading us in the "Toys For Tots Fly-by" on Saturday, December 10. Please look in the Fan or contact Jill and Don for details on these two great events. These types of events are what make SCVT SO SPECIAL. That's about it for now. See you at the November 18th meeting and Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. There is still time for some great California weather so Let's Keep Driving. Charlie SCVT President s Message Charlie s Chat This month s cover Doc Dockter and the Chick Magnet are looking good at the recent Sunrise Assisted Living display in San Mateo.
