1 THE FOREVER FALL LIGHTROOM PRESETS INSTALLATION GUIDE Congratulations on your purchase! You will love these PRESETS but I want to make sure that you have no issues installing them. If you follow the steps carefully, you ll have no issues and they will be imported into LIGHTROOM in just a few moments! IMPORTANT NOTE This preset collection includes TWO types of PRESETS . Develop PRESETS and Local Adjustment PRESETS (Brushes). This is important because they do not install the same way. Step 1 Download the zip file to your computer by clicking this button on the thank you page. Note must download to desktop, not mobile.

2 Inside the zip file you ll see two more zips like this: IMPORTANT each of those zip files contain the ACTUAL preset files with the .lrtemplate file name that get imported into LIGHTROOM . Do NOT import the zip file into LIGHTROOM , it will not work. Step 2 Import the Develop PRESETS . There are actually TWO different options to install these, both are easy, as long as you are using the .lrtemplate files and not trying to import the zip file. I already have a very detailed tutorial with screenshots and video to walk you through this click right here to view it. Step 3 Import the Local Adjustment PRESETS (Brushes) The reason why I call them the Local Adjustment PRESETS is that is the name of the FOLDER on your computer that you ll need to find to add them into LIGHTROOM .

3 If you've never used/explored the local adjustment tools area inside LIGHTROOM , your Fall brushes PRESETS will NOT be located in the "regular" develop module PRESETS panel on the left side they will be found in the upper right as shown here: 1. Click on the local adjustment brush or gradient filter tool in the develop module right underneath the "histogram". 2. Click on the drop-down next to "effect" - that is where they will be once installed correctly. Here s How to Install Them: If you prefer video instruction click right here. This tutorial references installing our Polished LIGHTROOM Preset Brushes Collection but they install the exact same way.

4 If you prefer written instruction follow the steps below. 1. Go into LIGHTROOM and click on Edit at the top (next to File). Note on a MAC you will click on LIGHTROOM menu item and then Edit 2. Go down to Preferences and click on it. 3. There will be a new screen that pulls up. There will be six tabs at the top, click on PRESETS (second tab). 4. Click on the box titled, Show LIGHTROOM PRESETS Folder. 5. Double click on LIGHTROOM . 6. Next double click on Local Adjustment PRESETS Folder. 7. Copy the contents (the .lrtemplate file names) of the FOREVER Fall Brush PRESETS (Install Different) Zip file into the "Local Adjustment PRESETS " folder.

5 There are FOUR brushes in this zip file. 8. If LIGHTROOM was open when you copied the brush PRESETS (.lrtemplate files), you will have to close it and restart it. If that still isn't working for here's some other things to try that others have reported to us. 1. Open LR - click on the Develop tab 2. Click on the Brush icon 3. Open > Preferences 4. Click on "Restore Local Adjustments PRESETS " to reset it; exit LR 5. Re-open LR > Preferences > Show LIGHTROOM PRESETS Folder and it showed up! Lastly - please understand that it is impossible for us to do any detailed troubleshooting with everyone as everyone's computer operating systems & computer brands / LR versions are different.

6 If you don't have a "local adjustment PRESETS " folder: Follow the suggestions here to "restore your local adjustment PRESETS " folder. That said, the above INSTALLATION guides are the absolute best help we can provide.
