Fredericton directory of Services for Seniors Welcome Welcome to the first edition of the Fredericton directory of Services to Seniors.

9 This Guide has been prepared by the Fredericton Age-Friendly Community Advisory Committee to facilitate access to information on programs and services for seniors in the Fredericton area. Age-Friendly Community On behalf of the Government of Canada and as the Member of Parliament for Fredericton, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Age-Friendly Community Advisory Committee and Deputy Mayor Eric Megarity for their work to improve the quality of life of seniors living in the Fredericton area. New Brunswick is undoubtedly facing an aging population, and now is the time to prepare.

10 Through the Age-Friendly Communities Symposium and through this publication, Fredericton is taking steps to become more accommodating for seniors. I am proud that our Government recognizes the evolving needs of senior citizens and supports this Committee's work to meet the demographic changes our communities are facing. This publication is a step-forward to ensure that you have the access to all programs and services available in our area. I encourage you all to take full advantage of the programs offered and to share your experience and skills with the rest of the Fredericton community.
