5 8/19/10 The ConstitutionofMoose International, the Supreme LodgePurposes of the OrderMoose International, Incorporated, hereinafter referred to asMoose International, a corporation, existing by virtue of the lawsof the State of Indiana, does hereby ordain and establish thisConstitution for itself and for the Supreme principle purpose for which the Supreme Lodge andMoose International are formed is to act as a governing body andas a headquarters or corporate structure, respectively, for a systemof fraternal and charitable Lodges of the Loyal Order of Mooseand Chapters of the Women of the Moose, along with other unitsand degrees, to be known in the aggregate as Moose International,in all matters which may be best administered by one governingbody or by one corporate structure.

6 Moose International may have,hold, own, purchase, pledge, mortgage, sell, and exchange suchreal and personal property as may be necessary and convenient incarrying out the purpose of the Supreme Lodge and of the purposes of the fraternal and charitable lodges, chapters,and other units are to:+Unite in the bonds of fraternity, benevolence, and charity,all acceptable persons of good character.+Educate and improve their members and the families oftheir members, socially, morally, and intellectually.+Assist their members and their families in time of need.+Aid and assist the aged members of lodges, chapters andtheir spouses.+Encourage and educate their members in patriotism andobedience to the laws of the country in which the lodge,chapter or other units exist.+Encourage tolerance of every kind.

7 +Render particular service to children in need by theoperation of one or more vocational, educationalinstitutions of the type and character of the institution now1 Page 6 of 160 : 8/19/10called "Mooseheart", and located at Mooseheart, in theState of Illinois.+Serve aged members and/or their spouses at one or moreinstitutions of the character and type of the place called"Moosehaven", located at Orange Park, in the State of Florida.+Create and maintain foundations, endowment funds, trustfunds and subsidiary or related corporations, whether non-profit or for profit, for the purpose of carrying on, aidingand assisting the charitable and philanthropic enterprisesheretofore mentioned. Moose International may, asappropriate, act as a member, shareholder, or trustee in theadministration of such foundations, endowment funds,trust funds, and IRules and RegulationsThe Constitution, the General laws and the rituals shall be theofficial rules and regulations governing Moose International and theSupreme Lodge.

8 The laws enacted by the Supreme Lodge for theoperation of member lodges and for the management and operationof all other units of the Order within the structure of the SupremeLodge and subject to these rules and regulations, shall be the law ofthe member lodges, state and provincial associations, chapters,degrees and other units that may be established from time to member lodges of the Order are the sole power andauthority of the governing body, known as the Supreme Lodge,subject to the Constitution and General IIComposition of Supreme LodgeThe Supreme Lodge shall be and is composed of the PastSupreme Governors, members of the Supreme Council, theSupreme Lodge officers, Supreme Lodge committeemen, PastGovernors and representatives of member lodges to the SupremeLodge.

9 Each Supreme Lodge member, as herein defined, shall be2 Page 7 of 160 : 8/19/10entitled to one (1) vote, and except as otherwise herein defined, themajority shall by proxy is prohibited, and regardless of the numberof positions one member may hold, a member is limited to one(1) IIIR epresentativesEach member lodge shall be entitled to two (2)representatives, who are active in their lodges as shown by theapproved April 30 Certified Report to Moose International. TheGovernor and Administrator of each member lodge should be thelodge's representatives to the Supreme Lodge during their terms ofoffice. Representatives shall be selected in the manner providedby the General IVThe Structure of the Order as a WholeThe Order shall be constituted as follows:(a) Supreme Lodge.

10 (b) Member lodges of the Loyal Order of Moose that possesscharters legally granted by the Supreme Lodge which havenot been suspended, surrendered or revoked.(c) Member chapters of the Women of the Moose that possesscharters legally granted by the Supreme Lodge which havenot been suspended, surrendered or revoked.(d) Units or degrees, (by whatever name called) as may beauthorized by the General laws or the Supreme VHonors of the Loyal Order of MooseThe honors of the Loyal Order of Moose shall be as follows:3 Page 8 of 160 : 8/19/10(a) Past Supreme Governor - This honor shall be attained byevery Supreme Governor who has been elected orappointed to the position, as provided by law or has hadthe honor conferred upon him by action of the SupremeLodge.(b) Past Governor - This honor shall be attained by everyGovernor who has served at least six (6) months, to theend of his official term, or who has had the honorconferred upon him pursuant to the laws of the Order.
