Jude and Hawker go to London to find a man called Johnny Cook who has a strange story about a drug company which they want to investigate. They find Cook in club one night, and bring him back to their hotel for breakfast. He tells them that he has a story about the Tyler Drug Company which he is selling to a newspaper for 100,000 Euros.

2 The company is taking young people off the streets and using them to test drugs. He knows because it happened to him. He and some other homeless young people were invited to stay in a comfortable house, but one of the girls got very ill, and Cook overheard some men in white coats talking about her they had clearly been testing some drugs, called Coplas, on her. That night Cook escaped, taking some papers from the house with him. Jude and Hawker return to their office in Brussels and tell the story to their boss, Arla. But Arla tells them that Cook is dead. He fell into the River Thames in the middle of the night.

3 And five years later the Tyler Drug Company began to sell a new drug called Coplastin. Was this the same drug? Omega File 451: Loch Ness, Scotland. Arla shows Jude and Hawker a photograph taken at Loch Ness in Scotland. It s a very bad photograph, but they can see something big and grey coming out of some water. It seems to have arms and a head. Arla tells them that it s killing animals around the loch, and he wants them to go and investigate. They arrive at the loch and talk to a farmer who has lost sheep during the night. He tells them about the killing, and also that there is a strange army laboratory in the hills above the loch.

4 Jude and Hawker get a boat, and start to spend a lot of time going up and down the loch. They find other sheep that have been killed, but they don t manage to see what has killed them. One night they meet some army people also in a boat. The army tell them that there is no monster and that they should go home. But every night more and more sheep die. Jude and Hawker get six old sheep and leave them near the water, watching carefully every night. One night something comes out of the water and attacks Hawker; Jude shoots it and it dies. The army people arrive in their boat and together they look at the monster.

5 When Hawker and Jude explain that they are from the EDI, the army men explain that the monster is their new fighter, genetically engineered to kill but they are having problems with File 522: Gal pagos, Ecuador. The EDI is getting a lot of emails from the Gal pagos Islands in the Pacific Ocean. They say that visitors to the planet are going to arrive on Isabela Island, in the Gal pagos. Arla wants Hawker and Jude to go and investigate. They fly to the Gal pagos and take a boat to Isabela Island. The people of the island are leaving in a panic; they say that a spaceship landed in an active volcano on the island ten days before.

6 Hawker and Jude climb the volcano to investigate and meet an Australian who is waiting at the top for the visitors to come out of the volcano. But they then receive a radio message that the volcano is going to erupt. They escape to their boat and as they are leaving the island the volcano does erupt and the Australian is probably killed. Hawker thinks he saw a spaceship fly out of the volcano just before the eruption but Jude doesn t believe ungraded summary is for the teacher s use only and should not be given to students.
