HCA 401(k) Plan fund Overview The Large Company Growth index fund is a passively managed fund comprised of a diversified portfolio of large to medium capitalization stocks. Objective fund objective is to replicate Russell 1000 Growth index . index Description The Russell 1000 Growth index measures the perfor-mance of the large-cap growth segment of the equity universe. It includes those Russell 1000 companies with higher price-to-book ratios and higher forecasted growth values.

The Russell 1000 Growth index is constructed to provide a comprehensive and unbiased barometer for the large-cap growth segment. The index is completely recon-stituted annually to ensure new and growing equities are included and that the repre-sented companies continue to reflect growth characteristics. Portfolio Characteristics Inception Date: January 31, 2011 Investment Manager: Northern Trust Global Investments Investment Management Fee: (effective: July 1, 2022) index fund Administra-tive Expense Cap: (effective: July 1, 2022) Benchmark: Russell 1000 Growth index Periods exceeding one year are annualized.

fund returns are shown net of fees. On October 1, 2017, this fund began participating in an index fund that allows securities lend-ing. Net income generated from securities lending activities is credited directly to the fund and reflected in fund returns. It is not possible to invest directly in a benchmark, and benchmark returns do not include costs and fees inherent with investing and managing a portfolio such as investment management, broker-age commissions and transac-tion costs.

Therefore, fund inves-tors should expect fund returns lower than their benchmarks. fund Fact Sheet 100% equity June 30, 2022 LARGE COMPANY GROWTH index fund Tier 3: Expanded Choice Stock Portfolio High Risk INVESTING IN THIS fund Consider your investment timeframe: Most investment advisors recommend adjusting your invest-ments to reflect the time remaining until you retire or need access to your savings. The longer you have until you expect to use your savings, the more investment risk you may be able to take because you have to recover from any short-term losses such as a market downturn.

The closer you are to retiring or needing to withdraw your savings, the less in-vestment risk you may be able to assume. Consider your asset allocation: Most investment advisors recom-mend spreading investment risk over different types of assets, there-by reducing the overall risk of your portfolio.
