Bids are hereby invited for the supply and delivery of the following Heavy Equipment Machinery to Lekwa -Teemane Local Municipality: 1. 2 x 6m3 TIPPER TRUCK - TIPPER body to be mounted on a suitable chassis. Council reserves the right not to accept the lowest or any bid. All bids received shall be evaluated in terms of the Municipal Supply Chain Management Policy and its Regulations, together with the Preferential Procurements Policy Framework Act (Act no5/2000) The 90/10 preference points system will be applicable.
2 Individuals, businesses and companies wishing to be considered on a preferential basis must submit the following with their bid: Invitation to bid MBD 1. Valid Tax Clearance certificate Pricing Schedules MBD Declaration of interest MBD 4. Preference claim in terms of the Preferential Procurement Regulations MBD Schedule 1:Contract form rendering of services Schedule 2 :Declaration of Bidders past Supply Chain Management Practices Formal contract MBD 7. Failure to comply with the above will nullify the bid. No scanned or reproduced documents will be accepted.
3 Sealed bids marked BID: HEAVY EQUIPMENT/MACHINERY should be addressed to: The Municipal Manager, Lekwa -Teemane Local Municipality, 13, Christiana 2680 and must be delivered to the bid box situated in the Municipal offices ( Cnr Robyn and Dirkie Uys street Christiana) not later than Friday, 13 March 2009. No late/ e-mailed/ faxed bids will be accepted and will be automatically disqualified. Bid documents will be available at at cash point in the municipal cashiers office from 12h00 on Friday 22 February 2009. Bids will be opened at 12h00 on Friday, 13 March 2009 and bidders may attend the opening and recording meeting.
