1 To all the examinees We are planning to take the following measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Precautionary Measures at Test Sites Test proctors will take their temperature on the test day and use Self-health checklist to check that they do not have any health problem for the test administration. Test proctors will wear a face mask, and use plastic gloves if necessary. The facilities will be disinfected, especially in places touched by people and hand sanitizers will be available at the test site. You can bring your own sanitizers and plastic gloves(transparent) if necessary. The test will be administered at limited capacity than usual in order to keep enough distance between examinees .
2 Test rooms will be ventilated by opening the doors and windows. Test proctors will limit conversation or verbal explanation to a minimum. Request to all the examinees Please use Self-health checklist and check your health condition before arrival and submit the checklist at the test site. We will check your temperature on the day of the test, so please come to the test site with plenty of time to spare. If you have a fever ( C or higher), we will refuse you to take the test. Please refrain from taking the test when you feel sick. Wear your own face mask while you are at the test site. examinees without a face mask will not be allowed to take the test. (You will be asked to take off the mask for personal identification.)
3 Practice proper hand washing and hand sanitization are highly recommended. Limit conversation to a minimum and keep a certain distance from other people. Test rooms will be ventilated by opening the doors and windows so please wear your clothes which can handle high and low room temperatures. Only examinee is allowed to enter the test site. There will be no place to stay for your companion. Also, please refrain from waiting near the entrance to avoid the crowds. If you cough frequently during the test, we may refuse you to take the test. On the day of the test, please install and use the "COCOA" COVID-19 Contact-Confirming Application. Please note that when an infected person is confirmed at the test site, we may provide the examinee s personal information(contact information) to public institutions according to the law.
4 Please contact JLPT Application Center if you have a fever ( C) which lasts for several days or have tested positive for COVID-19 within the fourteen days from the test date.
