1 Product Description:TREM proof 60 is a single-compo-nent, bitumen-modified, moisturecuring polyurethane waterproofingmembrane. TREM proof 60 is avail-able in three viscosities (H, V andR) suitable for applications to hori-zontal and vertical Uses:TREM proof 60 is intended for use asan inter-layer membrane for water-proofing applications involving two-course concrete slab construction inplaza decks, pedestrian concourse orpodia, parking garages, and reflect-ing pools. Other applicationsinclude single-course, non-exposedconstruction such as tunnels, foun-dation walls, planters, and : Do not apply to damp or contaminated surfaces.

2 Not to be used as an exposed or wearing surface. Use with adequate :BlackPackaging:5 Gallon (19 L) Pails and 55 Gallon(208 L) Drums. Applicable Standards:Conforms to the performancerequirements of ASTM :Surface to be waterproofed must beclean and dry. Concrete slabsshould have a light steel trowel fol-lowed by a fine hair broom orequivalent finish. Concrete decksshould be water cured, and in placea minimum of 14 days, preferably28 days prior to the application ofthe membrane. Following gooddrainage practice, the structuralslab should be sloped to drain aminimum of 1/8 ( ) per run-ning foot ( ).

3 All shrinkagecracks shall be treated with a 60 mil( ) coating of TREM proof 60V,six inches ( cm) wide centeredover the crack. Moving structuralcracks greater than 1/16 ( )can be routed out and caulked withTREM proof 60 V and coated with a60 mil ( ) detail coat ofMembrane, or treated with TremcoElastomeric Sheeting embedded inmembrane, centered over the all horizontal-vertical juncturesand all projections, a one inch ( ) cant of TREM proof 60V shall beinstalled. Integral flashing shall beinstalled to the height indicated onthe expansion joints and other areasof potential high movement, TremcoElastomeric Sheeting may berequired to be embedded into themembrane.

4 Consult your localTremco Representative or Distributorfor specific design details. All detailing must be cured a mini-mum of 12 hours prior to the appli-cation of the membrane. Detailingshould be wiped clean with Xylol orToluol prior to the application ofthe 60 shall be spray, roller,squeegee or trowel applied at athickness of 60 mils ( ).Application rate is four gallons per100 square feet (.61 L/m2). Blisterswhich may form as a result of mois-ture vapor being emitted from theslab or by air entrapment may bereduced by thinning TREM proof 60H25% with Xylol or Toluol and usingthe solution as a Flood Test should be run; themembrane should be cured to a firmrubber set (36 hour minimum)before flooding.

5 Flood with a mini-mum of one inch ( cm) of waterfor 24 protection against damage bythe Trades is necessary install anapproved protection sheet as soonas the membrane is a firm 60 TREM proof 60 Fluid-Applied Waterproofing MembraneCold Weather Catalyst:Cold weather catalyst is available toaccelerate the cure of TREM proof 60 Horizontal (ONLY) under coldweather and low humidity condi-tions. Add one 5 fl oz. (.15L) canof TREM proof Catalyst to a five gal-lon (19L) unit of TREM proof 60 Horizontal grade and mix for notless than five :Immediately available from yourlocal Tremco Field Representative,Tremco Distributor or :Tremco warrants its Membranes tobe free of defects in materials, butmakes no warranty as to appearanceor color.
