2 There were records across the board at last year s renewal, which broke the 14,000,000gns aggregate and posted figures of 144,082gns and 110,000gns respectively for the average and median. In all, 57 of the two-year-olds changed hands for six-figure sums, 15 of them for 250,000gns or more. At 675,000gns, the David Redvers Bloodstock purchase of Gaybrook Lodge Stud s Scat Daddy colt topped the list; named Kings Shield, he has won both his two starts for Qatar Racing and John Gosden. Grove Stud s Intello colt, bought by John Ferguson for 575,000gns, has been named Nordic Lights and made a winning debut at Lingfield Park in March.
