Uganda 2016 Demographic and Health Survey - Key Findings
The median age at first sexual intercourse for women age 25-49 is 16.9 years, compared to 18.5 years among men age 25-49. Women with more than secondary education initiate sex nearly four years later than women with no education (19.8 years versus 16.0 years). One in five women begins sexual activity before age 15, while 64% have sex before age 18.
