If the requested room class is not available, patient will be assigned to alternate room class and the room rate will be charged according to the room admitted.

5 Patient will be put on the waiting list for the requested room class upon request. However, unless it is patient's intent, the HOSPITAL will not assign patient to private room and wait for the requested room class. 3. For some chargeable items, a surcharge of 20 - 30% on top of the standard charges will be levied on Semi- private room ; whereas a surcharge of 75% on top of the standard charges will be levied on private room . This rule is not applicable to doctors' & anaesthetists fees. 4. Patient please confirm with your own doctor(s) on the doctor fee, including charges for medical consultation service, surgeon service and anaesthetist service.

6 The HOSPITAL will not be responsible for this. 5. If patient requests to change room from non- private to private during his/her stay in HOSPITAL , all of his/her HOSPITAL charges incurred within NUA-641-21-3837e(R2). 24 hours before the transfer will also be calculated based on the private class without further notice. However, if the transfer from non- private to private was caused by the unavailability of private room upon admission, then all HOSPITAL charges incurred before the transfer will remain unchanged. 6. An "Admission Service Fee" of HK$300 will be charged to each patient upon admission.

7 The Admission Service includes the registration procedures, measurement of body weight, vital signs observation (blood pressure / pulse / body temperature), urine test (sugar / albumin), assessment, risk and infectious status screening (if required). 7. The HOSPITAL reserves the right to make changes of room / bed for patients as needed. 8. An administration fee will be charged for each change of bed or room requested by patient. 9.
