1 Unit Scheme Components Remarks/action EMR-II Emeritus Scientist (ES) Scheme (i) Research component: It has the following Components :- (ii) Honorarium to ES Funds for the complete financial year will be released to CSIR labs by CSIR-HRDG on receipt of claim bill. 3 Labs will manage the funds and on completion of the financial year will submit the Utilization Certificate (UC) and Statement of Expenditure (SE) Funds Flow: HRDG to Lab to scientist Contingency grant, equipment grant, travel, and project staff etc. EMR-I Fellowships: (1) JRF/SRF-NET, JRF/SRF-GATE, SRF-Direct, RA, SPMF, and CSIR-Nehru PDF (i) Stipend plus HRA (ii) Contingency Contingency funds for the full financial year or till the sanctioned tenure whichever is earlier will be released to host CSIR lab by CSIR-HRDG on receipt of the claim bill Funds Flow: HRDG to Lab to scientist Stipend and HRA on monthly basis will be released to the bank accounts of the individual beneficiary (research fellows) directly via DBT Funds Flow.

4 HRDG to scientist/fellow (DBT) (2) TWAS Fellowship (i) Stipend plus HRA (ii) Contingency Contingency funds for the full financial year or till the sanctioned tenure whichever is earlier will be released to host CSIR lab by CSIR-HRDG on receipt of the claim bill Funds Flow: HRDG to Lab to scientist Stipend and HRA on monthly basis will be released by the host CSIR laboratory to TAWS research fellows from its internal resources and can be recouped from HRDG(CSIR) subsequently Funds Flow: Host CSIR Laboratory to TWAS Fellow from its internal resources and later recoup from HRDG DSTP/Pool Division Senior Research Associateship (SRA) (i) Salary (Basic+DA+HRA) (ii) Contingency Contingency funds for the full financial year or till the sanctioned tenure whichever is earlier will be released to host institute by CSIR-HRDG on receipt of the claim bill Funds Flow: HRDG to Host Inst to scientist Salary on monthly basis will be released to the bank accounts of the individual beneficiary (research fellows) directly via DBT Funds Flow: HRDG to scientist/SRA (DBT)
