2 Applying for Tuition Assistance in the future? Review these helpful tips to ensure accurate and timely processing: * Each term, print the most current application from the forms section of the upmc lnfonet at * Each term, complete a new application. Make sure to fully complete ALL items on the application. * Follow the instructions included with the application to the letter. There is a reason each piece of information is requested. Incomplete submissions cannot be processed. * Accompanying documentation must include the student's name and school. This information must be preprinted by the school. * Submit all of your information together, at one time. Multiple mailings/faxes cause significant delays and backlog. * Submit your information in a timely manner allowing for processing time before all personal, financial, school, and Tuition program deadlines. If complete, advancements take approximately 2-3 working days to process (allow additional time for the advancement letter to be mailed to you).

3 Reimbursement requests require up to 4 weeks to be reflected in your pay. Submissions are processed in the order of receipt of complete information. * If you are unsure of your eligibility for Tuition reimbursement you may submit an application with class schedule prior to a term, however, this is not a required step. It is only required that you submit an application with class schedule, grades, itemized bill, and proof of payment within 6 months after the end of your course. Please be advised that submitting fraudulent/altered information or documents or failure to notify the Tuition Assistance office of a change in your eligibility is considered fraud and theft and is punishable by not only repayment of Tuition paid to in error but also disciplinary action up to and including termination from employment with upmc .
