Navigation and Uploading Documents In order to access the State home Construction Grant Program website, State staff will need to have a account. To register for an account, email your request to Once VA Grant staff receive your request, you will receive an email containing a link to accept the user agreement with further instructions on how to activate the user account and log-in to the State Homes page . 1. 3 This page includes SHCG Program announcements, Program staff contact information, and recent priority lists. You can also review your contact information in the State Rep Contact Sheet under the Announcements section. b. To view State Grant status and checklists, and to upload documentation, click on the View Grant status and submit documents link on the right side of the page. State Veterans home Construction Grant Program : Page 2 2. FY16 Grant Status subpage a. This page lists all grants that are actively submitting documentation. The table at the bottom of the page lists all projects that have received funding for the current fiscal year.

4 To view the State project status, select your State from the list at the top of the page. State staff will only have access to Grant applications for their State . State Veterans home Construction Grant Program : Page 3 3. State subpage a. This page lists all State projects that have State funding for the current fiscal year. To view the PDF project checklist, select from the list in the top left corner. The date listed in the title of the checklist is the date it was last updated by VA Program staff. A snapshot of the remaining project documentation on the Grant checklist is located under the project Application Status section. b. Note: Both the project checklists and items in the project Application Status section are updated by VA Program staff.

5 States will not be able to make changes to these items. If an item is missing from the checklist, make sure it has been submitted in the project documentation repository and follow up with SHCG staff via email. States may upload a single document, or upload multiple files by selecting Bulk Upload. Please do not combine documents into a single PDF. b. Make sure to name your file in the following format: FAI# _ LOCATION _ DOCUMENT NAME AND CHECKLIST ITEM # _ DATE. For examples of how to name your file, reference this document or email the SHCG Program staff.

If you would like to receive email notifications on updates to the State s page and subpages, you can select the Watch This Page Family option from the Watchers dropdown menu. You may also select the option to opt out of receiving updates by selecting Stop Watching This Page Family. b. To receive notifications on any updates to the State home Construction Grant homepage or FY16 Grant Status subpage, navigate to those pages and select Watch This Page.
