2 Valid Registration with relevant professional body Valid Driver s LicenseKey Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Identifies with the immediate, short term objectives or plans in respect maintaining synergy between the output of the roads and Storm Water and associated services level agreement. Formulate the evaluation and review of the roads development plan against critical deliveries as identified in the organisation integrated development plan and services agreement. Analyse and evaluates the scoping, award and deliveries phases of projects associated with the provision of roads services to communities.
3 Disseminates functional and operational information on the immediate, short and long terms objectives and current development problems and constraints. Manages, monitors and inspects work performed under contracts and/or permits; Supervises and monitors annual road maintenance programs, such as surface preparation and drainage improvement, to ensure timely and proper completion; Reviews and interprets plans and specifications and recommends modifications; Manages the procurement, replacement and repair of road maintenance vehicles, and other heavy and specialized equipment; determines equipment needs to meet program requirements.
4 Coordinates specific administrative and reporting requirement associated with performance and results indicators of roads division. 5 Monitors and evaluates compliance in line with IDP. Investigates and addresses issues raised by Treasury Responsible for ensuring that the delegated powers, financial regulations and generally recognized accounting standards are applied and adhered to. Ensures that complete, valid and accurate records are kept in respect of all budget preparations and reports. Adhere to all GRAP requirements that relate to budget reporting and ensure their implementation. 6 Degree in Civil Engineering at NQF level 6 At least 3 - 5 years relevant experience Valid registration with professional engineering Council of SA (ECSA) Valid Driver s LicenceKey Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Co-ordinate the project planning phases and participate in IDP process with the view of identifying possible projects. Facilitate and monitor the progress and the processes of the project. Communicating with relevant stakeholders regarding technical matters when problems occur on site and technical input is required.
7 Ensuring work is conducted according to designs and specifications. 8 At least 3 - 5 years experience in the area of water services Valid Professional registration with ECSA Proof of Computer literacy Valid Drivers License Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Provide input into the designing and planning of bulk water and sanitation infrastructure and reticulation systems. Updating and maintaining the Water Management Information systems and procedures to support administrative reporting and monitoring. Update and maintain records that are entered into the WMIS of all water and sanitation systems in the District, Assess existing Water and Sanitation infrastructure assets in the District s communities through the WMIS, Monitor the Blue drop, Green drop and No drop system desktop maintenance system.
9 Liaise with various stakeholders on functional matters and conduct necessary investigation/ research to address queries and concerns. Monitoring compliance with administrative and reporting requirements on functional matters. Input data from different sources into the HEALTH AND SAFETY PRACTITIONER [Task Grade 11: Salary Scale: R248 R322 per annum plus benefits] Requirements: Matric National Diploma/ B degree in Safety Management or Occupational Health & Safety/ Social Sciences or relevant qualification majoring with occupational health & safety or safety management at NQF level 6.
10 At least 3 - 5 years relevant experience in occupational health and safety environment. SAMTRAC Course Certificate would be an added advantage Proof of Computer Literacy Valid Driver s LicenseKey Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Assist in the development of Occupational Health and Safety operational plans. Formulating safety policies, programs and standards for implementation. Inspecting work sites, identify potential hazards and conducting observations of work sequences and determine corrective measures.
