2 Duties This process will be used to staff Various positions. Duration of appointments will be 6 months or less with varied start dates. There will be no offers of permanent employment from this staffing process. Anticipated hiring will begin in March 2016. This staffing process may be used to staff the following positions: SP0273 Specialty Services Clerk SP0276 Revenue Operations Clerk SP0278 Material Handling Clerk SP0286 Examiner and Document Processing Clerk SP0308 Services Mail & Records Clerk SP0310 Program Mail Processing Clerk SP0318 Machine & Peripheral Equipment Tender SP0324 Mail & General Services Technician SP0325 Stores & Distribution Technician Duties you may be expected to perform may include, but are not limited to: Prepares and maintains tax returns for processing and storage; distributes files and documents.

3 And provides general file maintenance, control and support services Keys information from returns and other source documents and verifies, edits, and corrects captured data. Handles incoming remittance mail, allocates payments to taxpayer accounts and prepares and reconciles daily bank deposits. Analyzes and assesses information, documentation, and/or returns Assists in the operation of printers and/or inserters Provides materiel handling, mail and general services Lift heavy boxes exceeding 10 kilograms and stand for long periods of time Some positions require performing repetitive tasks using electric staplers and labelers Key information from returns and other source documents and verify, edit, and correct captured data.

4 Standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods Staffing Requirements to apply You must clearly demonstrate on your online application how you meet the essential staffing requirements to apply. Education Essential A secondary school diploma or a combination of education and experience. Proof of education must be submitted during Step 3 of your application to support the educational criteria. Failure to provide proof of education will result in disqualification from further consideration. Canada Revenue Agency will accept foreign credentials as long as they are considered acceptable by a recognized Canadian educational institution. Candidates with foreign education credentials are required to provide proof of Canadian equivalency.

Languages Requirements English Essential Staffing requirements to be assessed/applied Any essential staffing requirements indicated below will be assessed/applied at a later date. Any discretionary staffing requirements indicated below may be applied/assessed at a later date. Essential Assessment The following essential staffing requirement will be assessed/applied. 6 We may use test results from a particular standardized test (CRA, PSC or other tests, such as the Wonderlic Personnel Test) to appoint a candidate. Locally Developed Assessments Professionalism (Locally developed tool; will be assessed throughout the process) - Candidates will be assessed on a pass/fail basis. Candidates must achieve a PASS. Dependability (Reference check) - Candidates must achieve a PASS. Effective Interpersonal Relationships (Reference check) - Candidates must achieve a PASS. Results from locally developed assessment tools may be used for appointment; however, they are not portable to other staffing processes. Asset Assessment One or more of the following asset staffing requirements may be assessed/applied.

7 Cognitive Ability The Wonderlic Personnel Test (WPT) may be administered to assess this qualification Pass mark 16/50 For more information on this standardized test, please access the following: Wonderlic Personnel Test Information Regarding Testing There will be no rescheduling of testing sessions or interviews. Candidates who do not present themselves when scheduled will be deemed to have withdrawn from the staffing process. If you have valid test results using the CRA standardized assessment tools, you do not need to be reassessed; however, you can ask to be reassessed to try and improve your level(s) as long as you meet the re-test period restrictions. Note: For some standardized assessment tools only the most recent result is valid, regardless if it is higher or lower than your previous result.

8 As a result, this could impact your eligibility for an appointment in this and any other staffing processes, where applicable. Reference checks will take place at the end of the assessment stage.
