1 WASHINGTON STATE PATROL 11018 NE 51st Circle, Vancouver, WA 98682| 425-238-1042 | BIOGRAPHY On September 4, 2007, I was hired as a Trooper Cadet with the WASHINGTON STATE PATROL . I was assigned to the WASHINGTON STATE PATROL Academy in Shelton, WASHINGTON to go through a six week academy Arming Class. In July of 2008, I was selected to attend the 96th Trooper Basic Class at the WASHINGTON STATE PATROL Academy. I completed the academy after six months of training and was commissioned on January 30, 2009. While in the academy, I became a certified BAC Datamaster operator which included NHTSA DUI detection and SFST training. I was assigned to the Sunnyside Detachment until July of 2013.

2 In 2010, I applied for and was selected to attend the Drug Recognition Expert School, class number 22, in Richland, WASHINGTON . I successfully completed the training and became a certified Drug Recognition Expert. In 2011, I applied for and was selected to attend the SFST instructor developmental class in Yakima, WA. I successfully completed the training and became a standardized field sobriety test instructor. I have taught numerous SFST classes across WASHINGTON STATE . I won the Drug Recognition Expert of the year for region 3 for 2012. In 2015, I was selected and became a Field Training Officer. In 2016, I was selected to go to the Impaired Driving s Section s BAC technician training.

3 I completed the training and became a certified BAC technician. As a backup technician, my responsibilities can include: maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing breath testing instruments, provide expert testimony and provide training to law enforcement agencies. I have been certified on both the Datamaster as well as the Draeger Alcotest 9510. In May of 2017, I applied and was selected for the BAC technician spot located in Vancouver. In Vancouver, I am responsible for instruments in six counties including Clark, Cowlitz, Wahkiakum, Pacific, Skamania and Klickitat Counties. I have maintained and certified both Datamasters and Draegers. I am currently transitioning all counties from the Datamaster to the Draeger and training approximately 700 officers to certify them to operate the Draeger.
