WATAGAN EQUESTRIAN CLUB

1 Thank you for entering our dressage Training Day. Please see the following points regarding the running of the day. * FOOD AND WATER - There will be a food van and coffee van available on site with a small variety of food and drinks for sale. You are also welcome to bring your own. Taps are available for horses. * DRESS - A training day is practice for the real competitions, so EA rules still apply to all horse and rider gear. o Riders do not need to wear jackets but must wear a collared shirt or polo shirt. o Jodhpurs and saddle cloths should be white or beige. o Plaiting is optional. o dressage saddle and all relevant safety gear incl boots and helmets apply. * GEAR CHECK - All Competitors are required to present for a Gear Check prior to each ride (minimum 10 minutes before each test).

2 * WEATHER - To check for wet or hot weather cancellations please check the website and our Facebook page for any announcements after on Friday afternoon (the day before the event) * STARTING TIME - Your allocated draw time is the time you are meant to enter the arena to ride your test. You must present to the judge before you commence your test. * SCRATCHINGS - If you need to scratch please let us know at or text 0428 428 220. * MEMBERSHIP - You must be a WEC member to ride at this event. * RULES This event will be conducted in accordance with EQUESTRIAN Australia rules. You can find them at: * HEALTH, HYGIENE AND SAFETY - All attendees should use their own feed bins and water buckets. Dogs are not allowed to roam freely, we would prefer you leave your pets at home but if you must bring them please keep them on a leash at all times.

3 No Dogs are allowed in cars with the judges. * Horses can act unpredictably so children should be supervised by an adult and should not be seen wandering on their own. * dressage TEST SHEETS - Test sheets will be available at the completion of each test when scoring is concluded and judges have signed them off. If you require a test to be posted to you, please leave $ and your name, address and tests details on an envelope at the Office. * HELPERS All competitors have been charged a $10 volunteers levy. You will be contacted one week before the event to ask what job you would like to do on the day.
