4 He is moving to Lincoln to be nearer his family and new grandson. Mike has been an active member of Waterbeach Community Association for over 10 years and held the position of Treasurer since 2004. He has been involved in many aspects of village life. Generously giving of his time folding and delivering Beach News and he has been a major contributor to the organisation of Waterbeach Feast, Carols on the Green on Christmas Eve and the 60 Plus parties. On behalf of Waterbeach , Landbeach and Chittering we would like to say a huge thank you to Mike for his dedication and commitment over the years.

5 We wish him all the very best in his retirement and many happy years in his new home. Christmas - Carols on the Green on Christmas Eve was very well attended and the charity collection raised 666 for local clubs and groups. Thank you for your support. To include Waterbeach in this event we are inviting everyone to bring a picnic to Waterbeach Recreation Ground at approximately This event is aimed at all members of the Community both young and old alike. Some games and entertainment will be provided during the afternoon. Further details will be on the Waterbeach Community Association website and displayed in the notice boards.

Feast - 16th June - We are continuing through the alphabet and the theme this year is Something beginning with In this edition of Beach News you will find the various forms needed to join in the activities. Entry is free and further details and an entry form can be found on page 14. Sarge Stevens - We regret to inform you that Sarge Stevens sadly passed away on 26th January 2012. Whilst living in Waterbeach Sarge was actively involved in many groups and organisations within the village and was Community Association Treasurer for a number of years until she moved to Malvern, Worcestershire in 2003.
