3 Lay the 1 piece of deck into the grooveat the foot, now bring the head frame board in between the siderails until the deck fits in the groove. Mount at that point. Nowremove the deck board and go to Step 2 -- Building your assembled frame exactly where you want it in your room. This photo shows how the bookcase headboard willbe positioned on the extended frame AT A LATER TIME. DONOT MOUNT NOW! Refer to Step # POSTER out your frame, posts and hardware. Finished sides shouldface down toward floor exposing unfinished mounting the footboard to the two shorter posts using the bracketsandscrews provided. Some styles have hardware alreadymounted. Careful when mounting brackets to keep each bracketthe same portioned height on each frame board and the headboard and the frame backboard to the tallerposts also using the brackets and screws each side frame board to the posts attached to theheadboard and footboard.
4 Make sure the finished edges of theframe boards face your assembled frame where you want it in yourroom. Refer to Step 2 -- Building the 2: BUILDING THE PEDESTALS tandard out the pieces of your standard pedestal inside of theframe as pictured. The finished sides when assembled are toface the brown corner brackets on each corner of thepedestal. Slide the corner bracket on to each pedestal board atan angle, for easiest pressure is generally required to slide the corner bracketsall the way on and lock the corner into the two sets of the center support system, byinserting the slotted pieces into one another. Position the twointernal supports in the center of the pedestal, head to foot andside to side. You may receive a center support system of onelonger piece and two shorter pieces that are slotted. Positiondown the middle of the pedestal should be accurately centered within the framein its final , without letting it slide our of place, tilt the frame on to oneside.
5 Avoid moving the pedestal. After Step 3 you will lower theframe onto the deck boards which will be mounted on thepedestal. This does not apply to 4 poster beds. Build pedestal andposition deck boards inside of 4 poster frame, without moving : BUILDING THE PEDESTALSix Drawer one three drawer section of the pedestal inside theframe, recessed slightly on the side and at the head and foot aspictured. If you purchased a two drawer section pedestal, usethe same procedure as the three drawer that is the second three drawer section of the pedestal insidethe frame as 2: BUILDING THE PEDESTALSix Drawer Pedestal the wood pieces into the spaces between drawersections as pictured. For Queen size and Super Single sizewaterbeds the wood pieces may need to be cut down or not neededat all (hence push both three drawer sections tightly together.)

Secure the headboard to the frame with the flatbrackets screwed in from underneath the headboard behind theframe. Once mountedslide the frame back into final you purchased upholstered rail caps, attach them to yourframe now. The padded rail caps slip over the frame edges. 10 Do Not Place the thermostat control to either side of the frame,depending on where you will plug it in. Control unit may mountto side or underneath. See manufacturer s INSTRUCTIONS .
