This service will be delivered through a Consortium of four Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, comprising Ebenezer Home, Moorditj Koort, Coolabaroo Community Services, and led by the Wungening Aboriginal Corporation (referred to here-after as Wungening).

5 As the Strength in Culture group convenor you will be connected to, and recognised within, the Aboriginal community. You will be able to draw upon your personal connections as an Aboriginal person as well as your ability and experience to utilise a range of complementary therapeutic approaches in order to empower families; to work with them through their journey and to heal and build resilience through a sense of identity and community support and connection. This is a unique and critical position within the Wungening Moort Aboriginal In-home Support Service (AISS). Key Responsibilities Administration and Reporting: Adherence with Wungening s policy and operational requirements including participation in the Agencies continuous improvement process.

6 Maintain accurate client records and collect complete and accurate data as required for reporting and evaluation purposes. Contribute to organisational planning for development and improvement, including compilation of reports and submissions for funding bodies as required and requested. Maintain a high level of skill in required computer packages and databases relevant to the position. 7 Facilitate and lead therapeutic Strength in Culture group and associated supports as part of the AISS team. Actively support clients to engage with and fully participate in group based therapeutic programs and achieve positive outcomes, inclusive of increased community connection and personal resilience. Work with Wungening Moort staff to develop and facilitate Strength in Culture group and provide case notes and/or other documentation as required. Contribute to the ongoing development, monitoring and evaluation of the Strength in Culture group. Stakeholder Management: To contribute to the promotion and integration of Strength in Culture group processes within Wungening Moort and with external agencies as required.

8 To work effectively with all AISS agencies, and other early intervention and family support programs and universal services across the Sector to provide integrated service responses. Attend forums, meetings, working groups, etc. related to the role as required. Liaise with staff and clients to maintain high standards of information management. Develop and maintain respectful, supportive, collaborative and responsive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Occupational Safety and Health - Safety and quality systems: Staff have a 'duty of care' responsibility for safety and health at the workplace. 10 2. A relevant tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, adult learning at degree or diploma level and/or significant relevant experience within the Sector. 3. Demonstrated experience and skill in the development and provision of training to client groups within child protection and human services context. 4. Demonstrated ability to work co-operatively and effectively within and across teams, programs and other services to enhance client outcomes. 5. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to manage conflict. Desirable: 1. Demonstrated ability to work independently, use initiative and model resilience. 2. High level organisational and time management skills.
