1 Webb County sheriff s Office Webb County Jail s Prison Rape elimination Act (PREA) sheriff Martin Cuellar Prison RAPE elimination ACT (PREA) - THIRD PARTY REPORTING The Webb County sheriff s Office (WCSO) has a zero tolerance for all forms of sexual abuse and/or sexual harassment within the Webb County Jail (WCJ). The Webb County sheriff s Office will immediately respond to allegations, fully investigate reported alleged incidents, pursue disciplinary action based upon the outcome of the investigations and in accordance with the PREA standards, and refer for prosecution those who perpetrate prohibited conduct. HOW TO REPORT SEXUAL ABUSE AT THE WEBB County JAIL Inmates are encouraged to report all allegations of sexual abuse and/or sexual harassment immediately by: Using an inmate phone to call a confidential hotline (dial 9) located in every cell OR Speaking to a staff member, supervisors, medical/mental health personnel, chaplain OR Speaking to family members via phone conversation or visitation Writing an inmate request form to PREA Coordinator If you have any information regarding an inmate who has been sexually abused in the Webb County Jail, you may report on behalf of an inmate by filling out and submitting the PREA Reporting Form.
