Main focuses: grain, fertilizer, feed, milling, warehouse and distribution, and research and development with pet food company was purchased in 2010 by the current ownership group: Brent & Linda Lortscher, Tim & Yvonne Krehbiel, and Rand Schafer. They reside in Bern and they too are very active in the local community as well as their Church. Rand Shafer has worked at Lortscher Agri Service, Inc. for over 20 years and now serves as part owner of LASI and General Manager of LANI. After serving in the United States Navy for several years, Rand joined Gary and Betty and helped develop a culture of Quality First when it came to sourcing ingredients and finished flour.
