8 Massachusetts General Information Liquor Regulations The Hotel s liquor license requires that beverages only be supplied and dispensed by Hotel employees. Alcohol service will be denied to those guests who appear to be intoxicated or under age. The Hotel will refuse service to guests without proper identification. Service is limited to (2) drinks per person per trip to the bar. Open bar service will be limited to maximum of (5) consecutive hours. Guarantee The exact number of persons to be in attendance for all banquet functions must be made 5 full business days prior to the date of the event. This number is not subject to reduction; however, the hotel will be prepared to serve 3% above the guaranteed number specified. If no guarantee is received, the hotel will assume the guarantee to be the number shown on the Banquet event order.
9 Service and Tax Charge All food and beverage prices are subject to a 12% service charge, 12% administrative charge and 7% state sales tax charge. Additional gratuity is not required, but is left to the client s individual discretion following a function. Prices Prices quoted are subject to change without notice. Please consult the Catering Office for current price quotations. Prices are updated annually and will be confirmed 60 days prior to the event. Please note we do have Ballroom Minimums. Ceremony Should you decide to have your wedding outside in our lovely courtyard or inside one of our beautiful ballrooms; a set up and Rental Charge of $1, will apply. Payment in Advance Estimated pre-payment in full of the entire contract price must be made 3 full business days prior to the date of the event. This payment must be made in the form of cash, certified check, bank check or credit card.
10 Displays, Decorations, and Personal Property All displays and/or decorations to be provided by guests shall be subject to the approval of the hotel. The hotel will not be liable for any loss or damage to any such property for any reason, including items left behind after the event. Entr e Selection The DoubleTree Bedford Glen Hotel recommends the selection of one entree. Should two entree selections be necessary, there will be an additional charge of $ per guest. To assist our staff in prompt service, we suggest that you provide a breakdown with the number of each selected entr e to be served at each table, as well as noting the guests choice on the place card. Food and Beverage Service All food served at the DoubleTree Bedford Glen Hotel must be prepared by our culinary staff, unless prior approval has been granted by your Sales or Catering Manager.
