Arrive at CHURCH no later than 9:45AM (summer hours 9:15AM) if you wish, join Pastor and choir in prayer before the SERVICE . Process with the Pastor, and take your place on the organ side. Call to Confession: You may select one from the sheet prepared by Pastor.

5 B. Prayer of Confession - lead the congregation in offering the printed prayer. c. Greeting of Peace. d. Announcements - ask if anyone has any. e. Prayer for Illumination - you may select one from the sheet prepared by Pastor, or from the internet or prepare your own. f. Read the Scripture. g. Lead the response after the Scripture. Following the response, you may be seated in the congregation. REMEMBER: Lay Leaders, it is your responsibility to arrange for a substitute if you are unable to serve on your assigned sunday . Please call the CHURCH office and leave a message with the name of your substitute by 9:00 am on the Wednesday before the assigned date. Thank you. Hospitality Team Duties 1) Greet worshipers as they enter the CHURCH . Present them with a bulletin. 2) Especially watch for visitors. Invite them to the Fellowship Hour after CHURCH and provide them with a welcome bag. Inform visitors with children of our nursery. 3) Ring steeple bell (10 times) at 9:50 AM and again at 10:00 AM.

6 (Summer hours at 9:20AM and again at 9:30AM.) 4) Count attendance and record it on the Worship Record Sheet in the notebook on the table at the rear of the Sanctuary. Complete the rest of the information requested on the record sheet. 5) Receive the offering and return it to the altar. Begin bringing the offering forward as soon as the organist begins the introduction to the response. WEEKLY SERVICE ROSTER ST. Brush off tables and sweep floor of any food and debris that has fallen on it. Take out all trash from Fellowship Hour in the Social hall. 7) Before leaving, check and lock all entrance doors, upstairs and downstairs. If a double door, be sure to latch the second door at the top and bottom. Make sure lower level classroom windows are locked. Make sure all fans and lights are turned off and windows closed.
