1 Welcome from Maple Oaks Red Angus It is our pleasure to Welcome you to our 3rd Annual Bull and Female Sale. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the many customers that have supported our program over the years and invested in our genetics. It makes us very proud to hear of our customer's satisfaction and many success stories as our Red Angus cattle have gone on to enhance many other herds. We made a very conscious decision to invest in Red Angus approximately 15 years ago as a seed stock producer. We travelled the United States and Canada to learn about and invest in world class Red Angus genetics so we can bring some of the Best of the Best to our customers. We believe you will see many of those genetics within our offering, including the likes of the one and only Red Soo Line Annie 7249, Red Six Mile Signature, Red Six Mile Sakic, Silveiras Mission Nexus 1378, Pie One of a Kind 352, Benchmark Transition 10-14, Red Basin EXT 45T5 and so many more.

2 We study the animals well beyond their EPDs and are excited to have the opportunity to pass these genetics on to you. We have been hit hard by the drought and have had to buy and feed fescue hay all summer. We have virtually no pasture so we are having to sell many we would normally retain. We focus on our females and are confident the young females will grow up to be beautiful, productive females with depth of body, great udders and a beautiful presence. Regarding the bulls, we did not have our sale last fall so we carried over the bulls and are offering an impressive group of strong, powerful, productive two year olds, along with 18 month, and yearlings. The bulls are exposed to real world conditions and are bred with multiple trait selection in mind. They are grown slow and get a lot of exercise. They run on approx. 30 acres, no feedlot like environment. They are exposed to the Ozark hills, fescue grass, creeks, rocks, cedars, ponds, etc.

3 They have access to clean water and free choice AMP-T mineral at all times. Their dispositions are terrific, are up on all vaccinations, have passed their soundness exam, are BVD and PI tested, and are ready to go to work! The bull offering is comprised of a stout, rugged set of service-aged bulls that are ready for heavy service. The bulls have been developed in a large paddock setting to ensure structural integrity and efficiency. These bulls have been developed slowly with longevity in mind, and they are fertility tested and ready to go to work for you! Maple Oaks Red Angus has remained progressive in their quest to improve the next generation of Red Angus genetics by intensely utilizing Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfer.
