1 Gas ..Increasingly stringent air qualityrequirements have led to expandeduse of wet scrubber systems to controlair emissions. Chlorine storagefacilities and chemical process plantsare frequently required to scrubexhaust gas streams to removehalogen and acid , monitoring reactivegas concentrations in moisturesaturated air streams presentsproblems for standard diffusionsensors. Condensing water in these airlines can quickly blind diffusionsensors, rendering them s Series B12 Wet Gas Systemwas developed to meet the need forreliable measurements in wetscrubber outlets for other gas streamsthat might be saturated with watervapor. Systems have been developedfor monitoring strong oxidants(chlorine, bromine, chlorine dioxide,or ozone), acid gases (HCl or HF), basic B12 Wet Gas Systemconsists of a loop-powered 2-wiretransmitter and a corrosion resistantsensor specifically engineered tooperate at 100% RH.

2 Sensors aredesigned for direct insertion into ventstacks, or may be used in a flowcell ifsample can be pumped to the remote display and alarmrelay functions are required, the B12 Wet Gas Transmitters can beconnected to ATI's B14 Alarm ReceiverSystem. This system will provide directdigital display of gas concentration,plus 3 alarm setpoints, remote alarmreset input, and retransmitted 4-20mA output. Or, the B12 transmittermay be used separately and tieddirectly to the users' DCS, PLC, orother equipment.
