2 If permitted to carry out their purposes,they would have blotted the people of God from the earthand Satan s triumph would have been , in the near future, a similar objective will be inmind. In the name of Christianity, men will unify to re-quire first a nation and then a world to break the fourthof God s ten moral by a strange excitement, Protestantswill unite with Catholics in the attainment of their ob-jective. As soon as they have coerced Governmen-tal leaders to enact a National Sunday Law, the excite-ment in the fallen churches will intensify into a falselatter rain. Because men have dared to defy God s lawsand mandate a counterfeit on the populace, Satan willbe permitted to work wonders. A counterfeit revival willprecede the genuine. That counterfeit revival, discussedin the first video in a companion series to this book,brings on the National Sunday Law. But that counter-feit revival will continue on afterward. For purposes ofclarification, we will call its extension, past the NationalSunday Law, the false latter rain.

As soon asthe Sunday law is enacted, the power of demonic en-ergy, display, and appearances swells into somethingquite massive. It is this power which in great measureenables the law to be rather quickly enacted by everyother nation on the globe. The result is, what is called,a universal Sunday law. It probably consists of hun-dreds of separate national laws; all of which imposeSunday sacredness and demand worship of God the National Sunday Law is passed, the lat-ter rain begins; and both the true and false rain con-tinue on concurrently together will work miracles through his agents; andhe will personate ( Appear as) Christ to the masses,work apparent miracles, endorse Sunday, and de-nounce spiritual manifestations, by Satan and hisagents, are extremely important in the rapid workingout of final events in the Sunday law crisis prior to thegeneral close of probation.

4 Without them, the intensezeal for strictest national and later universal Sundaylaw enforcement could never take place. Yet it will beSunday enactment in the United States which will haveWhen it happens, it will make headlines in every newspaper throughoutthe world! Interviews of him will Appear on every television screen. Everynewspaper and news magazine will run feature stories on him. And this willnot be a one-time news release. It will continue on and on to the final closeof probation, and probably beyond. We are nearing the climactic end of the6,000-year warfare between God s law and Satan s Satan to begin demonstrating such to EW 261:1, Satan will raise an excitementbefore the National Sunday Law. According to 5T 451:1,the National Sunday Law will open the door for themarvelous workings by final events, once begun, will follow one an-other we will list a suggested order of early eventsin the Sunday law enactment. You will note that, alongwith hatred of Sabbathkeepers, the religious excite-ment/false latter rain fervor is the engine driving for-ward the fierce passions of the Sunday-law advocates,both before and after the National Sunday Law is en-acted.

5 Let us briefly summarize again some of theseearly events in the National Sunday Law crisis:A powerful religious excitement, or counterfeitrevival, starts in the churches. This energizes Protes-tants, Catholics, and spiritists to work together, yetwithout disturbing any denominational leadershipcontrols which are already in tentative threefold union of influential Protes-tants and Catholics, empowered by spiritist forces, be-gins to take shape. Hatred of Sabbathkeepers impelsthe churches to search for ways by which to push Government into enacting sweeping Sunday en-forcements. Please understand that, to all Appear -ances, it is only a twofold union. The churchmen donot realize they are working with the empowered excitement, the threefoldunion forms rather quickly. Catholicism brings to theunion the doctrine of Sunday sacredness and providesthe political support of millions of Catholics. Protes-tantism brings to it a driving leadership that coercesthe Government to legislate and enforce it.

6 For itspart, spiritism provides the hypnotic and miracle-working power needed to carry the movement throughto National Sunday Law is enacted by the UnitedStates Government. Initial passage of the law is donefor political reasons, in order to win favor with thechurches. At this point, the full power and extent ofthe Sunday-law movement is yet False Latter Rain begins. By their heaven-daring willingness to try to enact laws to overthrowthose which God has given, Satan is permitted, byHeaven, to more directly empower the efforts of thethreefold union to win the favor of all sides to the of demons, working with men, bringmassive conversions to the movement and promotethe bold, new solution to world problems. America,first, and Europe, second, will take the lead; and therest of the world will follow. It is the amazing powerunderlying this movement that rivets the attention ofthe other nations and finally converts them to the Sun-day-law of the National Sunday Law in Americahas opened the way for satanic wonders, appearances,and miracles on a wonder-working scale never beforewitnessed by human eyes.

7 The power of the false latterrain swells miracles change politicians, church men, andlaymen into religious zealots, determined to enforceSundaykeeping by whatever penalties are required, evenif they include the imposition of imprisonment anddeath. Nearly all are swept into the ranks; although,before the loud cry begins, the great majority do not yetunderstand the issues passage of the law, there was only a religiousexcitement in the churches stirring them to a threefoldunion. At their behest, the law was enacted by politi-cians merely as a political favor. But, after the law isenacted, the marvelous working of Satan is unleashedto an astounding degree. Deceived minds now see thenationwide law in a new light; it has become the basisof a great, new world order, ushering in a millennium ofpeace and prosperity. Strictest enforcement of Sundaysacredness surely must be all that is needed to bringuniversal peace, prosperity, and the approval of , apparently, is the only real sacrifice He asks ofthem.

8 The gluttony, worldliness, and selfishness cancontinue as usual. The theologians declare that Heavenaccepts the people just as they are; and they need notput away their of the law places the nation in the handsof Satan ; and he is permitted to work more wonders which follow galvanize, first, Americaand, then, the entire world. Paul, in his second letter to the Thessalonians,points to the special working of Satan in spiritual-ism as an event to take place immediately before theSecond Advent of Christ . Speaking of Christ s Sec-ond Coming, he declares that it is after the working ofSatan with all power and signs and lying wonders. 2 Thessalonians 2:9.

9 Patriarchs and Prophets, 686 - Sequence: According to Early Writings, 261, Satan will begin by raising an excitement in thefallen churches before the loud cry begins. (In alater study, we will learn that the loud cry beginsjust after the law is enacted. The plagues occur af-ter probation ends.) I saw that God has honest children among thenominal Adventists and the fallen churches, and be-fore the plagues shall be poured out, ministers and3WM1538people will be called out from these churches and willgladly receive the truth. Satan knows this; and beforethe loud cry of the third angel is given, he raises anexcitement in these religious bodies, that those whohave rejected the truth may think that God is with hopes to deceive the honest and lead them to thinkthat God is still working for the churches. Early Writ-ings, 261 we learned earlier, this excitement, or counter-feit revival, will lead to the enactment of the NationalSunday Law. It will be this strange excitement whichwill produce the threefold union and, through it, pow-erfully coerce Congress into passing the National Sun-day the excitement will not cease when the law ispassed; it will intensify!

10 Its enactment will permit Sa-tan to exhibit devilish wonders which are Satan will be working both before and after thelaw, but especially so after it is passed. We must give aname to this: First, his heightened activity, which leadsto the threefold union and the National Sunday Law,we will call the satanic excitement or counterfeitrevival. Second, after enactment of the law, the con-tinuation and mammoth deepening of that excitementinto a full-blown working of wonders we will call sa-tanic wonders, the false latter rain, or the counter-feit latter rain. This present study is about the post-enactment ofthe false latter rain and display of satanic - Sequence: According to 5 Testimonies, 451,first will come the threefold union, then the enact-ment of the National Sunday Law, then the marvel-ous working of Satan . By the decree enforcing the institution of the pa-pacy in violation of the law of God, our nation willdisconnect herself fully from righteousness.
