7 Quality control under BS:EN:ISO9001:2000 ensures our manufacturing process uses the best Timber quality to gain maximum effectiveness from the Timber supplied. Rejected Timber is recycled wherever possible to reduce use water-based finishing paints as they release less harmful waste. And our paint materials are also reclaimed to dramatically reduce waste and Environmental Purchasing Policy for wood and wood productsWorking responsibly and ethically for the environmentThe next generation of Windows Our Windows really stand apart for their quality and inherent innovation. They incorporate the very latest technology (including materials accreditation) and design standards (including energy ratings). All Timber products comply fully with BSEN 942. They use the following materials and are manufactured in accordance with BS1186 and BS6375. European Redwood :- Windows Laminated Oak:- Windows / Doors Hardwoods, typically Sapele:- Windows / Doors Laminated Redwood :- Doors Idigbo:- Doors Hemlock:- Face LiningsVac Vac PreservativeAll softwood components are vac vac treated double vacuum pressure impregnated to protect for 30 years against rot and fungal decay.

8 This is fully compliant with NHBC Technical Standards, and current building products are glazed using the latest security tapes, and a drained and vented glazing system is incorporated as standard. Internally glazed Windows incorporate a solid beaded SystemWhether a solid paint finish or translucent stain, all products are spray applied with a micro-porous finishing system in accordance with BSEN 927-1 moderate exposure. All finishing systems have total minimum coating of 150 microns dry / 300 microns wet. Opaque systems have a 10 year warranty and translucent stains have an 8 year warranty. Please note, we don t recommend dark paints or stains due to their heat retaining properties which can result in resin exudation and/or Timber movement. Please contact our technical department for further information. The paint finish whether stain or paint, needs to be washed down with soapy water at least every 12 months.

9 Any localised damage to the paint work should be repaired immediately so as not to affect the , Supply and FitAll products can be installed in new build projects by our highly experienced installation teams nationwide.
