GeneralFor those searching for a reliablecost effective unit air heater, theWinterwarm TR is certainly the bestchoice. This modern air heater has allthe features which are usually associ-ated to heaters with high technicalspecifications, for example variableair distribution, modulating burnerand fan and a very clever gradientcontrol, all being completely mainte-nance friendly.

2 The TR-range consistof 8 capacities from 20 to 100 and vertical outletCharacteristically for these types ofair heaters are the S-shaped tubesforming the heat exchanger with anatmospheric gas burner. The design ofthe tubular heat exchanger makes itpossible to tilt the air heater, so thatthe heater can direct the air both hori-zontally and vertically downwards(max. 6m.). Both the burner and fanmodulate (100% to 60%), which pro-motes the efficient heating of theroom. The room thermostat determineswhether the burner is used at full orpartial capacity on the basis of thedifference between the actual tempe-rature and the desired (set) tempera-ture.

3 In practice, this means that theheater will only operate at full capaci-ty during the start-up period ( inthe morning) and will use partialcapacity to maintain the room tempe-rature for the rest of the controlThe heaters are also provided with avertical gradient control (or delta T-Control). When the burner is not inuse, the air heater can function as acirculation unit. A sensor in the airheater and a sensor in the room thermostat constantly measure thedifference between the temperaturedifferences between the two.

4 Shouldthe temperature gradient increasebeyond the set value, the unit willswitch on the fan and circulate thewarm air. Naturally, the TR also has asummer ventilation TR has 3 suspension options: Swivelling console (art. no. ) for mounting on walls, con-sisting of 2 plates and 2 lateral sup-ports. The air heater can be placedon top of the console or suspendedfrom it. In the first position it is pos-sible to tilt the heater forwards from0 to 45 to distribute air at anangle. In the second position, thedevice can be swivelled horizontallythrough 180 for placement in corners.

5 Suitable for TR 20, TR 24and TR 28. Brackets ( 8580) for wallmounting, consisting of 2 x 3 steelU-profiles. The heater can be placed on top of both supports andcan also be suspended from for all .. threaded rods for suspension fromthe ceiling. The top and back of theTR-heater is provided with M10fastening points (for vertical suspen sion) in which threaded rodscan be inserted. Suitable for all types. Three types of flue terminalsare available for the TR series: concentric roof terminal, concentricwall terminal and 2-pipe wall terminal (types 20, 24 en 28).

6 Control There are 3 controlling options for theTR series. The MultiTherm is an intel-ligent thermostat which gets the bestfrom the TR heater.
