9 Once the oven ispreheated, you will hear 3 short beeps and will see a READY indicator on the control panel. Please note that the followingfunctions do not require a preheat function: ROTISSERIE andDEFROST. 5If you are using the oven timer, once your oven has completed the preheat cycle and the display shows READY, press the ON/OFFbutton to begin the TIMER. The TIMER will not start until the oven is preheated (except for Functions listed under section 4 above.) You can adjust the TIMER or TEMP during the cooking process byselecting either option, followed by the + or button. Whenchanging these settings during the cooking process, you will nolonger see the READY indicator displayed as the preheat cycle hasalready been completed. You cannot adjust the FUNCTION once youhave started the cooking process; you must press the ON/OFFbutton once and END will be displayed on the control panel.

10 7 Before Your First UseRead all instructions in this manual carefully. The information included in this book will help you to use your Bistro Convection Oven withRotisserie to its fullest. Place your oven on a level surface such as a countertop or table. Be sure the sides, back and top of the oven are at least four inches awayfrom any walls, cabinets or objects on the counter or table. Wash the Baking Racks, Drip Pan, Broil Pan in hot, sudsy water or in the dishwasher. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring padsto clean the oven rack, Broiling/Roasting rack or Drip Pan. The CrumbTrays and Lower Oven Drawer should be washed in hot, sudsy waterand dried thoroughly, do not place these items in the dishwasher. Cleanstubborn stains with a nylon or polyester mesh pad and a mild,nonabrasive cleaner. Rinse and dry recommend a trial run at a high temperature to familiarize yourselfwith your oven and to eliminate any protective substance or oil that mayhave been used for packing and shipping.
