During a site meeting the reasons for the current treatment of the intersection were discussed, where the Asquith Street traffic has priority over Balfour Road. The sight distance is poor on all approaches due to the topography and narrow road formation and Stop signs are currently in place on Balfour Road.

10 It was agreed that additional delineation of the double barrier lines at the intersection would assist in encouraging drivers to travel at safe speeds, and an advance warning sign can be installed in Asquith Street on the downhill approach to Balfour Road. PROPOSAL SUPPORTED (UNANIMOUSLY). Install: a) Reflective pavement markers on the double barrier lines in Balfour Road and Asquith Street; and b) a T junction warning sign in Asquith Street on the approach to Balfour Road. BULLI. 2 Park Road - Stop Sign Background Residents have asked COUNCIL to review the signs at the intersection of Rowan Street and Park Road Bulli, due to the lack of sight distance at the intersection for drivers entering Park Road.
