1 GAD-SC-RULES-0037-2017- 19574 of OdishaGeneral Administration & Public Grievance Department?k ?t ?t :kNOTIFICATIONB hubaneswar, dated the 12th September, exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of theConstitution of India, the Governor of Odisha is pleased to make the followingrules fuither to amend the Odisha Group-C and Group-D Posts (ContractualAppointment) Rules, 2013 ; namely-1. (l) These rules may be called the Odisha Group-C and Group-D Posts(Contractual Appointment) Amendment Rules, 20 17 .(2) They shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 1"day ofJanuary In the Odisha Group-C and Group-D Posts ( Contractual Appointment)Rules, 2013 (here in after referred to as the said Rules) in rule 9,-a) for sub-rule (2), the following sub-rule shall be substituted,namely:-"(2) Remuneration: During the period of contractual appointmentthey shall draw monthly remuneration at the rates prescribed in theAnnexure appended to these rules as applicable to their number ofcompleted years of service.

2 "b) for sub-rule (3), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:-"(3) Annual Increase of Remuneration: Subject to satisfactoryperformance, the remuneration of contractual employees shall beenhanced as per slabs prescribed under the Annexure appended tothese rules on completion of each year of service."3. 4 The revised remuneration will be paid fromSeptember, 2017 onwards.
