1 DescriptionBituthene Mastic is a rubberized,asphalt-based Mastic . It has excel-lent adhesion to structuralconcrete, masonry and wood. The VOC (Volatile OrganicCompound) content is 200 in tubes or Bituthene Mastic is designed to sealterminations, edges of patches andoverlaps in detail areas. On verticalapplications, the Mastic must beapplied to both the top and Mastic is an integral partof the Bituthene waterproofingsystem. This Mastic should not beapplied where it will be coveredwith Bituthene waterproofingmembrane, except as permitted asa temporary cutoff.
