The Ministry has beenreceiving references for inclusion of photo passbook issued by the ScheduledPrivate Indian Banks as well as Regional Rural Banks in addition to ScheduledPublic Sector The matter has been examined in the Ministry and it has been decidedthat henceforth ptroto pa$sbooks of the following categories of banksauthorized by the Reserve Bank of India may be accepted as proof of addressand photo identity:(a) Scheduled Fublic Sector Banks;(b) Scheduled Private Sector Indian Banks.}
