9 Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time February 6, 2022. I had an interesting experience one evening. I was attacked spiritually at a perfectly inopportune time. I went to a funeral home to do a wake SERVICE . I knew the person well. I said some prayers beforehand in my room, then headed over to pray with the family. As I walked in the door, about to head inside, there were a couple of gentlemen sitting just outside the room. I introduced myself, then the unexpected happened. One of them told me he was an This Saturday, February 12. atheist and proceeded to explain to me why You're an atheist too. I calmly disputed his accusation, said it was good meeting him and walked in towards the family. I. walked away all the more confident in my faith, but still somewhat disturbed by the audacity of someone trying to make a priest doubt his faith before praying with a family at a time like this! That man didn't really know what he was doing, but clearly the devil knew what he was doing.

10 I. clung to Jesus as I greeted the family and led them in prayer. All went well. Whatever anger I felt towards that bitter, misguided man faded within the hour. However I knew in my soul, as I sat in my chair that night, I need to pray for him. He needs my prayers. I know that was the last thing he wanted! That's certainly not the outcome the devil wanted. People aren't smart enough to attack or discourage our spirit at perfectly inopportune times, but the devil is. We're all just a bunch of sinners who need Jesus, but the ones who have faith know it. COME OUT AND SUPPORT THE. Therefore there isn't one person who can't use prayers. The people I think to pray for first are those who I've promised ST. CHARLES SPORTS PROGRAM. to pray for, those who have asked for my prayers and the people I feel need prayers the most at that time. However those who need prayers the most should be first on the list. Maybe those who aren't asking for prayers or wouldn't ST.
