Use pencil shading, showing a range of tones, ranging from light through to very dark. Graphics Year 7 Graphics-Training shoe design Training shoe design. For our next project we will be designing and making a prototype 3D Training shoe design, you must produce a 6 slide research power-point presentation on training shoes. This should include, slide 1- The History of the training shoe in sport, athletics, running, tennis, Adidas, Nike etc.

4 Next slide 2-How they have become a fashion accessory thanks to Hip Hop music and street culture. Next slide 3- Investigate different shoe brands and logos, Sketchers, K Swiss, Puma. Next slide 4-The development of training shoes including new innovative designs and new technologies ie, glow in the dark, cushioned air soles, Velcro, self-tying etc. The PPT should include at least one slide-slide 5- With 10 images of training shoes presented like a collage, and one slide-slide 6-Where you show an image of your favourite shoe and explain why it is your favourite and what aspects of it appeal to you.

5 If you want to add more slides and images like Fashion images then this is fine-you could add links to web pages or insert video clips of famous singers wearing the shoes or famous sporting stars like Usain Bolt. If you do not have power-point you can do your work on word documents. Next do 2 observational drawings of a real training shoe. First draw a training shoe using a pencil, with tonal shading with light areas and dark areas to create contrast, add as much detail as you can including creases and folds.
